Meat eaters, Do you respect a vegetarian's right, Or in other words you had someone who didn't eat meat come?

for supper, would you feel insulted if they declined the meat dish, would you feel insulted? Or do you respect their right? I know it is a stupid question, but I ask because in school once we had a Pow wow, and then food after that and my teacher forced me to eat the meat, she said I was being all rude when I told her I don't eat meat so yeah do you respects vegetarians when they come over?
