A question of waste - Nappies, choices and the family?

I wouldn't switch to cloth nappies, and I didn't, for the reasons you outlined. It's all very well people saying 'I only have to do two extra washes a week' but that is just for one person...think about neighbours, friends and family who all do two extra washes a week...that creates a larger carbon footprint. Besides, they'll break down eventually. That energy used to heat up the planet has left it's mark forever!
