What movie is about people that go to a hounted house and there is many ghosts of children and an evil one?

im looking for a movie that came out a few years ago.the movie is about a group of people that go to a haunted mansion, as part of a tv thing i believe. But there turns out to be many ghosts of children there and an evil man ghost that holds them there. i also remember something about a giant fireplace with a large swinging rock head of a lion or something that goes from side to side.
