Help me i dont know whats going on?

okay so last year i started working at this restaurant where i met this guy. we kinda had feelings for eachother and stuff but never officialy dated. i ended up leaving for australia in the winter when the restaurant was quiet. so then when i come back i found out he has a gf with 2 kids hes been living with, he tells me hes not happy with her and that they fight etcetera etcetera. theyve only been living together for 2 months. so one night hes out, upset and calls me, we ended up kissing and stuff but i said nothing else could happen. he told me she cheated on him with the father of their kids of her kids. so anyhow this happened, he said him and i should see how things go. i told him i wanted him to make up his mind or id feel too guilty, he told me that night he missed me, but he thinks its best we dont talk anymore!??? hes been texting me and stuff for the last 2 weeks, now i feel like crap and miss him. does anyone know what to think about this? i dont know what to do. if i give him time, do u think hell come around???its been 2 days still no word from him. dont tell me to move on cuz i really love the guy and i think or thought he was for me. it breaks my heart to see hes happy with someone new. but he himself told me hes not happy with her and that he told her himself theyre not together, and dont even sleep in the same room anymore. i just miss him now and i feel so rejected and hurt cuz the last time we texted he told me that.....he thinks its best we dont talk anymore. im even leaving town for a couple days cuz im so hurt. he told me he wants to be with me and im 90 percent sure he moved out of that place he was living with his girlfriends at. i donno what to do now. he said its best we dont talk and totaly stopped answering my texts. i will see him at work, and im over the pain of it but i still miss him. do u think theyll ever break up? it doesnt sound good..i still love him he tells me today now that he wants to meet up, i do and some things happen. i donno he says he wants to be with me but hes too attached to that girls kids to leave. what can i do? he even told me he moved his bed out of their room because she was being a ***** and cheating on him?!
