Is it safe to travel to bangkok? am travelling next week?

Maybe not safe even in tourist areas. A tourist was shot in Khao Sarn Road a couple weeks ago. Grenades were launched at the sky train platform and one person was killed last week. Red shirts rioted at Talat Thai and a soldier was killed. They say they will expand action outside of Bangkok. So anybody's guess where the next violence will happen.
