Who should tex first-the guy or the girl?

Personally I don't think it makes a difference, these days that sort of thing is a pretty equal area. The answer is mainly that if you like this person and you want to talk to them then you should go ahead. In the end its gonna be better to do it and show your interest, than to not do anything and give them the impression you're not interested.
